I was lucky enough to visit this year EXFC. Ricardas, Mindaugas and me made trip affter Europe F3J champions where we participate. We came on saturday evening and sunday we saw semifinals and finals live. Competition was organized by Krill Aircraft kits and Red bull, from what i saw it was great success! One thing is for sure i have to participate there after one year!!! This time we saw very hi level of flying, all semifinalist putt outstanding freestyle routines with super hard maneuvers, few years ago not much top pilots could make them with foamies not talking about 35-40% planes... In my opinion most spectacular flying was made by Gernot and competitors from USA and Israel, these guys flew borrowed planes, and knowing this routines looked pretty smooth, also EXTREME rolling harriers/ loops inches from ground sure gave WOW points !!! Also im very happy that i meet in person few RC friends, Jens, John, Ido and Adi, must say all of them are top freestyle pilots but whats more important all are super nice persons!!! Guys looking forward to compete with you next year! By the way i must say i was VERY impressed with little less known pilots (Alex, Axel, Fabien, Filippo, Alberto and Daniel) flights, new generation of QS's is here! Spectacular Gernot hover in smokes. This weekend (07 21-22d) in Alytus was held Lithuania F3A, F3K and F3J, championship. Weather was more than great, sun, allot time to fly and good friends, whats more need for good weekend? Anyway this was most important competition for any competition RC pilot in Lithuania, so competition was hard in most classes. |

One of top 2007 year season freestyle competition Extreme Flight championship was held last weekend in USA. It is annual freestyle competition organized by Futaba. FlyingGiants.com again made full coverage from this event! Top 20 heli and 20 airplane pilots from all over the world compete to find out who is best of the best freestyle pilot in this spectacular and growing class. It is very nice to see that young growing RC star from European Gernot Bruckman took second place in this top competition. Flying level is incredibly hi, most participants made breath taking maneuvers few inches from ground, take a look by yourself at videos and pictures on www.flyinggiants.com Heli and airplane winners on podium.

This weekend me and my friend Vitalijus Pilkionis visited open two days F3A competition in Belarus, Gardin city airclub. Competition was organized by RC shop Alex West, it was organized already third year, for us this was first visit to Belarus. Totaly there was registered 16 participants for FAI class and 3 for Hobby class, unfortunately only 11 participants from Belarus, Russia, Ukrain and Lithuania came. All pilots flew in FAI class P07 sequence. We came to Belarus fryday evening, and next morning we decide go to airfield earlier to make some practice flights, when we were doing this, organizers and all participants came to field. Right affter transmiters check up and competition opening we start first round, first pilot on startline was Sergey Butuzov, he made real nice flight and competition start rolling.

This weekend was exciting not only for USA indoor pilots because of ETOC, European guys also had chance to compete in last big and serious F3P competition of this season. We just back from Belgium, Mons , this time Lithuania team was only from two pilots, me and my good friend Ricardas Siumbrys. It was long trip and sometimes is to difficult to prepare everything for more persons. We are very happy with result we achieve!
