This weekend me and my friend Vitalijus Pilkionis visited open two days F3A competition in Belarus, Gardin city airclub. Competition was organized by RC shop Alex West, it was organized already third year, for us this was first visit to Belarus. Totaly there was registered 16 participants for FAI class and 3 for Hobby class, unfortunately only 11 participants from Belarus, Russia, Ukrain and Lithuania came. All pilots flew in FAI class P07 sequence. We came to Belarus fryday evening, and next morning we decide go to airfield earlier to make some practice flights, when we were doing this, organizers and all participants came to field. Right affter transmiters check up and competition opening we start first round, first pilot on startline was Sergey Butuzov, he made real nice flight and competition start rolling.
Overal saturday all pilots flew thre rounds of P07, weather was great same as organization of competition. There was allot of time to fly that day, in short brakes between pattern rounds everyone was allowed to make practice ore just fun flying. It is nice to see that our neighbours have pretty serious competition with big interest from people. All weekend there was many spectators and even local TV show up to make report about this competition. Here are few pictures we and organizers made:

Evening fun flying with Futurion XXL. Demo flying with new "Futurion XXL", in right side Vitalijus with his "Swing". Saturday morning we flew last round of P07, and competition was over. Last round did not make any changes in result table, 5 time Russian F3A champion Sergej Butuzov won competition, second was Mr. Valerij Makarov from Ukraine, i took third place and my friend Vitalijus fourth. Competitions with high level participants sure are very useful, now i see where should i improve my flying and equipment. We are happy that we made visit to this good organized competition and looking forward to visit it next year!
