 After long long indoor season, finally summer and outdoor flying is here. I plan to visit many local and international F3A, F3K and F6A competition along with Clover Creek in USA and ITOC in Italy. However first one competition is already this weekend, and its first Lithuania F3A cup round in Panevezys, we expecting some guests from Latvia and Belarus. Here is my weapon for this competition;

  Few weeks ago i visit ETOC in USA (Toledo) and Dortmund intermodelbau expo in Germany, but only now i find time to write about this great trip. Because i had only one week for preparation for trip i decide to use good old Sultimate instead of Arrow VPP for freestye and new Symmetric for pattern.

My interview video about trip and new pattern plane from Higher plane productions, very nice videos from all main RC events.

  I decide that simple "dry" flights in competitions ore shows are not so interesting anymore. Naturally in hi level competitions/shows you can meet really interesting personalities that usually have interesting stories behind them. So now between flights in interesting shows and competitions i will try to talk with most interesting RC people and bring you very interesting videos.

Interview with Mr. Chris Hinson owner of Extreme Flight RC, Atlanta, USA, 2010.

Interview from biggest hobby expo in world, Dortmund intermodellbau 2010 , check out what's how coming from Spectrum (Horizon hobby).

ETOC here i come!!!

 Hello dear friends, in past few month i visit some very nice F3P competitions in France, Germany and Belarus. Unfortunately because of lack of time (and to be honest priority to fly/build instead of sitting next to PC), i did not update my homepage so often. I will try to do this latter in summer as well with detailed Krill Spark and SebArt MissWind50 building/flying reviews.
 For the moment im glad to share one great news, last week i receive USA visa, so finally i will be able to visit Electric Tournament Of Champions in Toledo, Ohio, this will be my first visit to USA. ETOC is combined with largest RC expo in USA, so i will also have chance to meet my friends/sponsors, Castle Creations, Extreme Flight, Desert Aircraft, Jersey Modeler, Vess Propellers and Mercury Adhesives. Even if i had only one week to prepare for ETOC, i can say preparation went smooth and now im happy with both my pattern and Aeromusical flights.
 As most of you know my pattern plane for last 3 season was Deluxe, i think this plane is very good design for older sequences, new FAI sequence (particularly one maneuver spin), require different planes, my partners Donuts Models ask me to design smaller F3P plane with easier assemble process, also i had some ideas i had wish to test so new Symmetric was born. Sorry for the moment i will not post plane spec's until i will make some small changes and will be 100 percent happy with design for European sequences. Plane will be released as kit from Donuts models for 2010/2011 indoor season.

After seeing Martin Muller experiments with film covered super light F3P planes, i want to test it on smaller details, i see this technique work very well, so in future i will cover my planes with film instead of milling, im sure this will be HUGE weight saving.

Like plane name say it have fully symmetrical fuselage, wich brings KE flight very close to perfection. I have some ideas how to make next version with more symmetry.
First flights with AXI 2203/52 and 9,5x3,8 carbon prop.
 After some modifications Symetric turn out to be really nice plane that make both positive and negative spins VERY easy, i think plane still is little to fast and agile for European sequences, however for difficult ETOC sequence this plane is perfect. I was able to adjust it for this year Etoc sequence in little less  than one week, here you can see what i have in mind;
